Celeste is a platformer game where you control Madeline as she climbs the treacherous Celeste Mountain, facing challenging obstacles and uncovering a heartfelt story.
GitHubWhy did I play this game?: I wanted to experience a challenging platformer with a meaningful story. I planned my playthrough in stages, focusing on mastering each chapter before moving on.
What went well?: The controls felt precise, and the level design gradually increased in difficulty, which made learning the mechanics satisfying.
What went wrong / what could have been better?: Some of the later levels were extremely difficult, and I had to retry multiple times. Watching guides helped, but it felt a bit like a crutch.
Am I proud?: I am proud that I completed the game and mastered many of the trickier sections, and I appreciated the story's emotional depth.
